PRESS RELEASE: Pakistan Business Council Dubai organized a special Suhoor event at the Pakistan Association Dubai. The event gathered prominent business figures, industry experts, trade representatives, Consulate’s Commercial Office and other Business Council representatives. The primary objective of the event was to enhance business networking, explore investment opportunities, and strengthen Pak-UAE trade relations. Key speakers at the event included Consul General of Pakistan, Hussain Muhammad, Trade & Investment Counselor, Ali Zaib, Chairman of Pakistan Business Council Dubai, Shabbir Merchant, Vice Chairman Kamran Ahmed Riaz, and renowned Pakistani industrialist Hussain Dawood. They emphasized the significance of economic cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE and the need for future joint business ventures. A key highlight of the event was a detailed briefing on the upcoming Health, Engineering, and Minerals Show (HEMS), scheduled to take place at Expo Lahore from April 17 to 19, 2025. A business delegation is set to visit Lahore to explore trade opportunities and strengthen economic ties between the two nations. A special traditional Suhoor was arranged for the attendees, highlighting the spiritual and cultural essence of Ramadan. Officials from the Consulate’s Commercial Office and representatives of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai engaged with business leaders to discuss avenues for trade development. Chairman of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai, Shabbir Merchant, expressed his gratitude to all participants for making the event a success. He emphasized that such gatherings play a crucial role in fostering trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
